Enterprise and adventure with the Entrepreneur Challenge
On Thursday, BBC Radio 2 Breakfast presenter, Chris Evans, was presented with the inaugural Scouting Entrepreneur Challenge. This celebrates the skills on show when Scouts demonstrate a mind for business.

All day and all of the night
Doing a full 24 hours of activities on one of the hottest days of the year is quite a challenge but the soaring temperatures were no barrier to the adventure-seekers who attended Gilwell 24 last weekend.

New Chief Commissioner for England - 01-03-2010

We are delighted to announce that Tim Kidd has been appointed to lead Scouting in England with an appointment as Chief Commissioner of England with effect from 1 March 2010.

Tim’s primary responsibility will be to undertake speaking engagements and to represent Scouting internally and externally. He will support the strategic management and development of the Movement as an equal members of the UK Chief Commissioner’s team of lead volunteers.

Tim has, and continues to hold a wide range of roles in Oxfordshire Scouting. Our congratulations to him, and we wish him well in his new role.
